Birthday
Party Tips Decide on a date and
time for the party. To avoid meal time, plan your party from 1:00PM - 3:00PM or 2:00PM - 4:00PM. If lunch is being served, lunch and dinner times would be fine. Evening and weeknight parties are becoming more popular due to sports and other daytime activities. Decide where you
will have the party. The home works very well for
smaller parities. Decide how many
children you will invite. Decide what you will do at the party. As the children arrive, have something for them to do. For children over 3, here are
a few suggestions: 2) Craft - make a necklace or snake out of Fruit Loops. Put tape on the ends of yarn to make it easy to string. You may want to have a prize for the longest one. For older children: Have paper and pencils on the table. 1) Guessing Jar - have 1,2,
or 3 jars filled with something such as pennies or candy, and have the
children guess how many are in the jar. Make sure they write their name
on their paper. ENTERTAINMENT! Now it is time for the entertainment. A Clown & More has many different entertainers available to you (see Entertainers). The most popular entertainers for Birthday Parties are: clowns and magicians. Many of the clowns perform magic shows along with making animal balloons and face painting. For children over 10 years old, you may choose to have a magician, balloon twister, or face painter, NOT in clown. For large parties with a lot of room, The Family Circus is a great idea! Book the magician or clown 15 - 30 minutes after the party starts. The Family Circus requires up to one hour set up time before the party. Book the entertainer early! (See Entertainers - Booking) Ending the Party. Here are a few suggestions for the goody bag: stickers, candy, keychains, bubbles, balls, noise makers, and small toy animals. A Special Gift. Order a special surprise for your birthday child to receive at the party, (see Products - Puppets). Things to keep on hand: camera, matches for lighting the candles, emergency numbers for each child, emergency kit, and paper towels. Please pay the entertainers as they arrive. Thank you! Company
Party Tips: Book the entertainers early! For large events, consider booking two or three entertainers. If you book a clown to perform a magic show, and animal balloons or face painting, The magic show should be first. Put up a flyer in the office or lunch room 4-6 weeks before the event. A Clown & More would be happy to make it for you. Have an Emergency Kit available. Give away door prizes, for the children, (see - Products - Puppets). Please pay the entertainers as they arrive.
